We give you KahelOS.
KahelOS Linux, based on a simple Linux Distribution, is conceived to be an evolving Linux Distribution.
It is primarily envisioned to provide the best of both worlds for the Linux end-user.
Imagine one beneffting from the optimization, the robustness, the speed and lightness, and the rolling release model that only the experts and guru's of Linux can develop and the utility of combining the user-friendliness (GUI), that newbies and moderate Linux pracitioners look for to be readily productive and take advantage of what Open Source Technologies and Collaboration can bring and can make happen.
KahelOS, in both Server and Desktop Edition, can legally cater to your personal and business application needs.
KahelOS' Philosophy is Open for Change.
When KahelOS was but a spark of imagination...
We have long planned to innovate an OS that will power our own servers and workstations and include only the most essential dreamy features. It has been in the drawing table (over swigs of... coffee), and then came along Kernel 2.6.29, a pledged release by Linus Torvalds loaded with the "Cool Stuffs". The release is in support of saving Australia''s Tasmanian devils from extinction and as such, replacing Tux with Tuz.
Since one of our 8liens still see TDs as beloved cute cuddly creatures, we went ahead to support the cause and showcased all the kernel''s coolest features in our newest FREE offering, KahelOS Linux.
KahelOS owes it lightness, flexibility and basic rolling release model from Arch Linux. Yes, Kahel Desktop OS is a Linux Distro based from Arch Linux +GNOME.
We hope, and goal, to share this collaborative fruition; not just another distro, but the distro that innovated on having a server and desktop OS on a rolling release schedule which also means (1) effortless updates of applications, and, (2) lesser time and MBs spent on getting the most recent available application and kernel releases.
